south and is getting closer to the actual site of the building.

waiting to get the sewer line and water lines to the site.

are complete and the next step has started.

May 7, 2005 - The first row of block is complete. We are now
waiting for the plumber to come and bring all the lines to the
correct positions. Once the lines are up the floor can be laid and
the rest of the walls will go up.

May 7, 2005 - This picture is taken from the south-east corner of
the building. The first row of block is completed and we are
waiting for the plumber. We hope to see lots of progress this
next week.

May 9th, 2005 - Some fair board members are seen in the new office
area of the building. They are excited that the construction is
still on schedule for completion before the fair. Fair Board
Members include (L to R): Dean Kluss, Angie Charlson, Larry Pals,
Tricia Rosendahl, Don Grandgeorge, Denise Hocraffer, Kent
Rutherford, Shirley Stevens, and Scott Thompson.

May 19, 2005 - Kinseth Plumbing and Heating of Belmond was on the
grounds putting the initial plumbing lines in on the new bathroom
and showers.

May 19, 2005 - After a closer look Vice-President Dean Kluss and
the plumber determine the initial plumbing should be complete
today.

Friday, May 20, 2005 - The cement floor has been poured on the
women's bathroom side of the new building. The contractors have
also put sand in the next section to prepare for more
cement. |

May 23, 2005 - The cement was poured in the office area today.
With all luck the men's bathroom should be done tomorrow.

May 23, 2005 - Besides the cement in the office area today you
will notice block going up in the southwest corner. Once
all the floor is poured the walls will be next. All is
going well so far. |

May 24, 2005 - A & J Construction has begun the walls on the
new building. The south wall is about shoulder high and the
corners are going in on the north end. |

May 24, 2005 - The walls continue. The cement in the men's
restroom was poured today also. |

The walls are making good progress. This is the view on the east
side. The left door leads into the restrooms and the right door
leads into the new office area. |

The walls are
complete and Sadler Construction is now on the grounds to set the
rafters and complete the roof. The first rafter is being moved on
Monday, June 13th. |

some rafters are being placed up on the building. |

Wednesday, June
15th. The roof is complete on the north end of the building.
Work continues on the roof on the south side. |

Monday, July 4th - The office area in our new building will be a
rough office for use during the fair in 2005. It will have
electrical and telephone lines. The room will be completed after
the fair.

Monday, July 4th -
The restrooms will be useable restrooms and showers during the
fair. The partitions still did not arrive, so temporary ones will
be installed on Tuesday. Even temporary it will be much better
than what fair-goers have had to use in the past.

The outside of the building is looking great. Rick Rasmussen
helped with the landscaping on the north and south sides. A flag
pole donated by Bill Johnson will be set this week also. This
building is finally becoming a reality!
